We’re excited to announce that the Public Education and Awareness Committee of AFSA National has joined forces with the American Red Cross to support their Home Fire Preparedness Campaign. This campaign provides families with survival kits after a fire, as well as promotes life safety by encouraging home owners to have working smoke detectors, escape plans, and other life-saving measures in the home.
Here’s where the AFSA community comes in: If we’re able to raise $10,000, the American Red Cross will also promote home fire sprinklers!
Imagine the amount of people we can reach with a focused promotion from an organization with 4.4 MILLION social media followers and over 50,000 unique site visits a day. This is a huge opportunity to give our message of the importance of home sprinklers the exposure it deserves. The more money we raise, the more the American Red Cross will help promote our cause.
