About AFSA Schuylkill
The American Fire Sprinkler Association Schuylkill Chapter, or AFSA SC, serves as a meeting place, education center and local advocate for individuals and companies involved with the fire sprinkler industry in Delaware and Pennsylvania.
At our meetings and events fire sprinkler contractors, fire sprinkler designers, engineers, AHJ’s, fire marshals, fire sprinkler equipment suppliers and manufacturers meet to improve themselves and their companies by learning about the latest technology and techniques the industry has to offer, often collecting CEU’s in the process.
Members of the AFSA SC also use the resources of the AFSA on a national level to work together towards the adoption of best practices, code enhancements and new legislation that will benefit the fire sprinkler industry in Delaware and Pennsylvania.

The American Fire Sprinkler Association (AFSA) on a national scale is a non-profit association that represents merit shop fire sprinkler contractors. The association is dedicated to the educational advancement of its members and promotion of the use of automatic fire sprinkler systems.
AFSA was organized in 1981 to provide the merit shop fire sprinkler contractor with training, consulting, communication, representation and many more services, all of which have expanded over its existence.
Membership is open to contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, designers and authorities having jurisdiction. Currently, AFSA represents companies and individuals across the United States and throughout the world. AFSA believes that the installation of fire sprinklers could save thousands of lives and billions of dollars lost to fire each year and increasingly, public officials are realizing this.
